Return Policy

Returns work best when the order reference, item condition, and postage rules are clear from the start. These sections set out each step without long paragraphs.

Return window

A return may begin within 30 days of the delivery date recorded by the carrier. The carrier date controls, not the purchase date.

An order not yet dispatched should be cancelled instead. Cancellation stops the parcel and brings a full refund.

The same deadline applies to every item in one order. A parcel already on its way should be reported before the deadline passes.

A neighbour, locker, or building desk delivery still uses the carrier's recorded date. Tell [email protected] if that date appears wrong. A delivery scan is treated as proof of arrival even when the parcel was received by someone else. A return request before delivery is handled as a cancellation.

  • Return period: 30 days after delivery.
  • Clock source: carrier delivery record.
  • Not dispatched: cancel for a full refund.
  • One order: one deadline.
  • Late parcel in transit: tell us before arrival.

Return eligibility

An item is eligible when it is unused, unwashed, and complete. Original packaging, tags, fittings, and instructions must be included.

Compare the item with its product page before breaking a seal or discarding wrapping. A resale-ready condition is required for a full refund.

Damage, a wrong item, or a missing part counts as an error on our side. Photographs are reviewed before the return route is confirmed.

A quick fit or size check is fine when the item stays clean and protected. Signs of use, pet hair, odours, or missing accessories can change the result. Photographs taken before packing help confirm the original condition. The item should be repacked in the same protective manner for return.

  • Unused and unwashed: required.
  • Original packaging and tags: required.
  • All parts and instructions: required.
  • Wrong or damaged item: treated as our error.
  • Condition in dispute: photographs requested.

Return request

Write to [email protected] before sending anything back. Include the order reference, item name, and a brief reason for the return.

Wait for the return address and packing instructions. A parcel sent without approval may not be matched to the order.

Place the order reference inside the parcel and keep proof of postage. Both details help if the carrier loses the return.

Use the address supplied in the reply. A parcel sent to a different location may be refused, delayed, or impossible to connect with the order. The return reference should remain visible on the outer label. A dispatch note inside the parcel also identifies the sender.

  • First step: email [email protected].
  • Include: order reference and reason.
  • Wait for: return address and instructions.
  • Inside parcel: order reference.
  • Keep: proof of postage.

Return carriage

A change-of-mind return is arranged and paid for by the customer. Original outward postage is not restored in that case.

A damaged, faulty, or incorrectly supplied item is different. Allhallow Trim covers the return carriage and the original postage.

Use a tracked service for valuable goods. An untracked return that disappears cannot be confirmed or refunded.

Several items from one order should travel together when possible. Separate parcels create separate proof and may each carry a different carriage cost. Allhallow Trim confirms the correct carriage route before the return is posted. Tracking details should be sent after posting. A return address is valid only for the order stated in the reply. Keep the posting receipt until the refund appears.

  • Change of mind: customer arranges and funds carriage.
  • Our error: Allhallow Trim pays carriage.
  • Original postage: returned only for our error.
  • Valuable item: use tracking.
  • Several returns: combine when practical.

Refund timing

The refund is released within seven calendar days after the returned item arrives and passes inspection. The original payment method receives the money.

Banks and card issuers may need additional working days to display the credit. That posting delay sits outside the refund period.

A different card, account, or cash payment cannot be used. Any deduction is explained in writing before the refund is reduced.

Inspection checks condition, completeness, and the item identity. A missing part or changed condition is documented with photographs before any decision. The customer receives the evidence and the proposed outcome before the refund is adjusted. The refund is then released to the original payment method.

  • Release target: seven calendar days after inspection.
  • Payment route: original method only.
  • Bank posting: extra working days may apply.
  • Cash or alternate account: unavailable.
  • Deduction: explained before release.

Exclusions

Some goods cannot come back because their condition cannot be verified or they cannot be resold safely.

Opened packs, used items and anything that has been outdoors for a season cannot be returned, because the condition cannot be reversed.

Items with missing parts, fixings or instructions cannot be accepted as unused.

Anything marked final sale on its own page is outside the return policy, and the marking is shown before checkout.

Products returned without their original packaging may still be accepted, but a partial refund may apply.

If an item may fall outside the policy, ask before posting it. An unapproved or excluded parcel can be declined or returned at customer cost.

The product page controls when a line is marked as unsuitable for return. Ask [email protected] before purchase when that condition is unclear. An excluded parcel sent without approval may be held until the customer gives return instructions. If no instruction follows, the parcel is sent back at the customer's cost. Photographs can be requested before that decision is made. The customer is told which rule applies.

  • Unverifiable goods: excluded.
  • Unsafe to resell: excluded.
  • Unsure about an item: ask first.
  • Unauthorised parcel: may be declined.
  • No return instruction: parcel sent back at customer cost.

Late returns

A return that misses the deadline is reviewed case by case. It may be accepted, refused, or returned at the customer's cost.

A refused or uncollected parcel is treated as a change-of-mind return. The item value may be refunded, but outward postage is not.

A disputed inspection is checked by a second reviewer. The evidence used and the final decision are shared in writing.

A return delayed by a Allhallow Trim instruction is treated as timely. Keep the message that supplied the address or packing direction. The message date and reference support the review when a deadline is disputed. A second reviewer checks the evidence before the outcome is final.

  • Late return: reviewed individually.
  • Refused delivery: change-of-mind rules.
  • Already in transit: tell us early.
  • Inspection dispute: second review.
  • Delay caused by Allhallow Trim: treated as timely.
